From the moment an octopus lays her eggs, her whole world narrows down to one thing: protecting them and making sure they hatch.
She hides next to them in silence, caring for them for months. She doesn’t think about herself, not even for a moment.
She doesn’t eat. She just guards.
And when they are finally ready to hatch, she leaves her hiding place one last time, only to say goodbye.
A few hours later, she dies. Hungry, exhausted… but at peace.

Nature holds the most moving and untamed storie.
An octopus lays eggs only once in her lifetime. Sadly, some people unknowingly harm them, not realizing they are cutting short an entire journey.
